Corsair Nightsword RGB Gaming Mouse

Corsair Nightsword RGB Review

When it comes to gaming mice, there are a lot of options to choose from. So how do you decide which one is the best for you? One option is to consider a Corsair mouse. They are well-known for their quality gaming peripherals, and their Nightsword RGB mouse is no exception. This mouse offers a lot of great features that gamers will appreciate, including RGB lighting, multiple buttons, great dpi, and an adjustable weight system. Let's take a closer look at what this mouse has to offer.

Build Quality

The Corsair Nightsword RGB Gaming Mouse is a high-quality device that offers great comfort and features for gamers when we tested it. The build quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy and well-constructed. The mouse also has a weight-tuning system that allows you to customize the weight of the mouse to suit your needs. This is a great feature, and it's something that other gaming mice don't offer. It also features a high sensitivity of 18,000 DPI and on-the-fly DPI adjustment.

The Nightsword is a unique and innovative mouse that weighs 119g (0.26 pounds) or 144 g, depending on whether you include the extra weight supplied in a separate case to circular fittings around the sensor - placing the center of gravity right in middle instead at front/rear like other mice with optional weight add-ons seemed apparent from my short testing so far!

Gaming mouse Design

One of the first things you'll notice about the Corsair Nightsword RGB is its size. It's a bit on the large side, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. I have average-sized hands, and I found the mouse to be comfortable to use for extended periods. If you have smaller hands, though, you may find it a bit unwieldy as it is a big mouse

The good news is that Corsair offers an alternative in the form of the Glaive RGB Pro, which is essentially the same mouse but with a slightly smaller form factor. Corsair is a company well-known in the gaming community for its top-of-the-line gaming peripherals, and the Corsair nightsword RGB gaming mouse is no exception.

Corsair Nightsword RGB Gaming MouseComfort

This mouse was designed with comfort in mind, and it shows. The comfortable gaming mouse has wonderful a ergonomic design that fits naturally in the hand, and the textured grips make it easy to keep a hold of during even the most intense gaming sessions.

The Nightsword RGB is a mouse with an interesting design. The textured rubberized finish on the body provides good grip, but it also attracts grime and dust which can be tracked into your home if you're not careful!

Corsair Nightsword RGB Gaming Mousemore stylish add-ons

There are three different types of lighting (RGB) along each side for added flair - these lights do get hot during use so make sure to take care when moving around after playing games or sitting too long without switching them off manually.

Corsair's new nightsword RGB gaming mouse is a well-designed piece of hardware that is both comfortable to use and performs admirably. The mouse is Corsair's largest ever, measuring 5.1 x 3.4 x 1.7 inches, and it sports a total of ten programmable buttons.

The Corsair logo on the back of the mouse lights up with Corsair's signature 16.8 million colors RGB lighting. The nightsword also has an adjustable weight system with six 4.5-gram weights that can be added or removed to adjust the mouse's heft. The scroll wheel has a nice, tactile feel to it, and the buttons are all firm and responsive.

Buttons

Is your thumb ready to have a thumb rest? The Nightsword features five extra buttons, two along its edge for adjusting CPI (Counts Per Inch) by default, and features a three-step light readout that lets you know when it's time to adjust the sensitivity.

Just below these are forward web navigation controls with another ultra-low DPI button (sniper button) nestled underneath so those who prefer shorter fingers won't have any trouble getting around this area as quickly or accurately as required in games like cs go!

Features

In terms of features, there's not much to say here. The Nightsword RGB has everything you'd expect from a high-end gaming mouse: programmable buttons, adjustable DPI settings (up to 18000), on-the-fly DPI switching, and so on.

There are also three different profile settings that you can save to the mouse's onboard memory, which is handy if you use it with multiple computers or want to have different settings for different games.

Game Performance

In terms of performance, the Corsair Nightsword RGB excelled in games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield 1, Overwatch 2, and MOBA games. Thanks to its five onboard memory profiles, I was able to quickly save my settings and replicate them on other PCs without any hassle. The Corsair Nightsword RGB is a great option for gamers who are looking for a high-performance gaming mouse.

The Corsair Nightsword RGB Gaming Mouse sports a custom PWM 3399 optical sensor with a 1,000 Hz polling rate and up to 18,000 DPI. This mouse is built for precision and speed. I tested the Nightsword's tracking capabilities with Aim Lab. The mouse worked well in this setting, and I was able to achieve good tracking reliability overall. Perhaps less expected was that the Nightsword worked well in a reflex shot or whip aim setting, which requires long sweeps across the mouse mat.

The Nightsword's juggernaut proportions worked well in a reflex shot or whip aim setting, which requires long sweeps across the mouse mat. There's more to a good mouse than its sensor: It's a combination of ergonomics and technology that have to complement each other, and it does work in a shooter setting.

iCUE Software

Software

The iCUE software is a useful tool for customization and calibration. I was able to remap buttons, adjust DPI steps as well as run quick calibration tests on different surfaces without much difference after using the program's features though it did not seem like there were any major updates in this area since last year when we looked at these types of things more closely; still worth checking out if your mouse isn't feeling quite right!

The Nightsword is a one-of-a-kind gaming mouse that offers an endless amount of customization options. With three front RGB panels, two backlit mesh surfaces, and the ability to sync your keyboard's colors with it as well--you can go nuts trying out different layouts for yourself! There are even more understated patterns on top including logo lights right next to where you would press buttons which make them pretty easily accessible at night when playing games without any light sources around.

Verdict

Corsair’s Nightsword RGB takes care of all the little things that other mice don’t with a nice touch. The weight tuning is easy to use and effective, while still being able to store the weights inside the mouse. This means you won’t have to worry about losing them like with most other customizable weight mice on the market. The result is a sharp, responsive gaming weapon that can be tailored for any surface or style of play. If you’re in the market for a new gaming mouse, the Corsair Nightsword RGB is a great mouse option and should be at the top of your list.
